Located just minutes from the famous cliff top walk, the Edgecliffe is a charming and comfortable well run hotel with an enviable reputation for it's first class food and relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

The Edgecliffe is fully centrally heated for your comfort and guests are provided with their own bedroom and front door keys to allow complete freedom.

Our bedrooms are light, spacious and airy; tastefully furnished and decorated. All of them are en-suite. Each one offers a full array of comforts including tea and coffee making facilities, shaver socket, and hair dryer and colour television - not to mention the beautiful views from the windows.

We offer a selection of rooms to suit all party sizes - from singles, doubles, twins, triples, family rooms and even four posters for those special occasions.

The Sunny, open aspect dining room, looks directly onto the colourful patio and garden. Here, you can enjoy a hearty breakfast to start the day or savour the delights of our expertly cooked evening meal. We offer a choice of menus to suit every palate, including vegetarian.

After dinner, why not relax with a drink from our well stocked bar, select a video from the choice available or maybe a book from our many volumes. These can all be found in our extremely comfortable lounge.

As a service to our guests we can make your car ferry reservation for you and in many cases will be able to save you money. Please ask when you make your booking for your holiday with us.

We offer a free pick-up/drop off service from Shanklin Rail Station.

Guests may arrive any time after 2.00pm and are requested to check out by 10.00am on the day of departure.

Sunny Shanklin is an ideal holiday destination with its picturesque old village and easy access to some wonderful walking country. Watersports, tennis and golf are all at hand.

History and entertainment are all on the Island and easily accessible from The Edgecliffe. We have maps, guidebooks to assist you as well as 'First Foot Forward with Wight Walks' - a special selection of self guided walking itineraries for our guests.

Bed and breakfast weekly rates from £150 per person.

Pre booked bed, breakfast and evening meal weekly rates from £210 per person per week or arranged nightly at the hotel for £11.95 per person per night.
Child discounts available from 3-12 years. (2yrs and under stay free of charge)
