Directions

The Al(M), A19 and A194 all lead into South Tyneside and South Shields is clearly sign- posted. Head for the town centre, turn left at the traffic lights opposite the town hall, then left at the roundabout. Straight over the following roundabout and finally right at the next roundabout and you are on Ocean Road. Elmswood Guest House is located in the middle on the left hand side.

The Shields Ferry is conveniently close by and links North and South Shields. International Ferries from Holland, Norway and Sweden operate throughout the year. The Shields Ferry runs half hourly crossings.
