Need an intimate place to get ready with your family and friends? Embleton might be the perfect place! All 5 en-suite rooms for 2 nights (max 11 adults, 2 children). A family style buffet/meal on arrival. Breakfast the next day at a time to suit you and your guests. The Garden Room to prepare yourself and your bridesmaids. Haidressers and make-up artists welcome. We have 5 en suite bedrooms. One Superior double/twin; luxury bathroom and a large bay window overlooking our secluded gardens.
Two large ground floor double/twins (one with wheelchair access), each with its own entrance, so you can come and go with ease.
Two fixed doubles upstairs inside the house each with lovely views over the Stour Valley.

Feel free to enjoy our large gardens where we also have a tennis court and an outdoor heated swimming pool (open May-Sept by arrangement).

Alternatively, walk out of the side gate onto the footpath and enjoy a walk across the fields to the village and beyond. (Maps available on request). |

HOLISTIC THERAPIES IN THE UNICORN ROOM Rosemary (I.T.E.C MIPTI BCMA) has been a qualified Holistic Therapist for more than 12 years and regularly works at St Nicholas Hospice in Bury St Edmunds.
We can offer Embleton House guests specialized treatments such as Indian Head Massage, Full Body Massage, Back Massage, Lymphatic Drainage and Hand or Foot Treatments.
Available by appointment (excluding Thursdays). N.B. If you fancy a tailored break with some treatments included, please contact us for details.

The centrepiece of the village is The Green which is overlooked by thatched cottages and a magnificent church. Cavendish is home to the Sue Ryder Foundation and there is a museum dedicated to its history. |
There are two great places to eat in Cavendish (both within a10 minute walk).
The George A warm welcome awaits you in this 600-year-old, newly refurbished timber framed former pub. You can eat in the restaurant or spacious courtyard. Excellent cuisine prepared by its owner, top London Chef, Jonathon Nicholas.
The Bull Inn. Historic Cavendish pub. Real log fires, beams and local characters. Famous for its award winning fish dishes and full Suffolk portions. Serves the best pint of Adnams Bitter for miles! |
