Eype's Mouth Country Hotel is a short stroll from the beach and beautiful Dorset Coastal Path, which offers a challenging walk up to Thorncombe Beacon, rewarded by panoramic views of Portland to the East and Berry Head to the West. |
There are many outdoor and watersport activities to enjoy in this part of Dorset including, walking, running, cycling, golf, horse-riding, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, and swimming, - all within easy reach of the Hotel. Nearby is the market town of Bridport famous for its brewery and rope making industries. There is a market held twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays. All rooms are en-suite with colour television, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities. Many of the rooms have views of Lyme Bay whilst others overlook the marvellous National Trust Downland. The Restaurant is situated at the head of a magnificent ballroom, surrounded by windows with views of the beautiful countryside.
