| Situated in pretty Oulton Broad, known as the Southern Gateway to the Broads, we offer a comfortable and relaxing break. Ideally situated to explore all that this lovely part of East Anglia has to offer. |
We have three spacious en-suite rooms.
Magnolia situated in the annexe is a very comfortable double room, with direct access to the courtyard patio
Honeysuckle and Lilly provide a spacious double rooms each with King size beds
Lilly is another good sized double room with King size bed
All rooms are ground floor, have tub chairs, colour TV with Freeview, hairdryer, towels, radio alarm, CD/Radio, tea and coffee making facilities with complimentary biscuits & toiletries
We have a varied breakfast menu, including vegetarian and as members of the Suffolk Breakfast initiative we use locally produced sausages, bacon and mushrooms, homemade jam and eggs from our own hens in the garden.
Ample parking, courtesy transport from Oulton Broad North & South railway stations.
We can also arrange a special package to include sparkling wine, chocolates and flowers to make your stay extra special. |
| The Norfolk Broads |  |
This part of Norfolk & Suffolk, known universally as the `Broads`, is far more extensive than just a collection of inland, water-filled broads.
They are connected by over 200 miles of gently flowing, navigable rivers, dykes and cuts that offer ideal cruising conditions at between 5 & 7 mph. You can cruise right into the heart of the city of Norwich, or travel east as far as Great Yarmouth, where the Broads eventually affords access, (for those with suitable craft), to the North Sea. Providing you`re not in a hurry you can travel many leisurely miles throughout the Broads region, for days on end. |
We are at the Northern end of Oulton Broad, travelling from Norwich/Beccles on the A146 continue into Oulton Broad on the A1117. Travelling from the South on the A12 take the A1117 to Oulton Broad, over all roundabouts (bearing right at the mini roundabout) to the T junction and traffic lights, the Dutchman Pub is on your right, continue into Oulton Broad on the A1117. Once over Lake Lothing, go through Oulton Broad and over railway crossing to the roundabout, take the 2nd exit into Normanston Drive, Fairways is 200 yds up on the left.
Travelling South from Great Yarmouth on the A12, follow the signs for Lowestoft to the Tesco roundabout, take the A1117 to Oulton Broad, continue on the A1117 to the roundabout at the top end of Normanston Park, take the 4th exit into Normanston Drive, keeping the park on your left, Fairways is approximately half a mile down on the right. |
