A fine owner-run Hotel overlooking Loch Etive set back on the A85. It is approximately 5 miles before Oban, 90 miles north-west of Glasgow or Edinburgh.
The main Hotel was built in 1886, the modern extension was added in the 70's. The Hotel is beautifully appointed with a comfortable lounge and Dining room for advance reservations of 10 or more people or functions. Relax in the super Cocktail bar with open log fire, there are over 100 brands of whisky to tempt you before or after a meal in our attractive and relaxed Bistro with its extensive a la carte menu featuring local produce.
There is a pleasant 2 acre lochside garden across the road with a slipway which is suitable for launching small boats. Off road parking for 40 cars adjoins the Hotel.

The Falls of Lora Hotel has a wide range of accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets.
30 rooms with private bathrooms ('New Wing' rooms have baths with shower attachments and 'Older Part' rooms have baths only) make up the Falls of Lora accommodation. Each of the rooms include full facilities such as hair dryers, trouser presses, complimentary hospitality tray, central heating, televisions, radio and direct dial telephones incorporating a baby listening facility.

Dining
Relax in the unique Cocktail Bar with open log fire and a selection of over 100 malt whiskies to tempt you.
Adjoining the Cocktail Bar is the Hotel's Bistro where our Scottish Chefs make use of the finest local produce to create an interesting and varied menu. Our daily 'Specials Board' and 'Main Menu' has approximately 15 starters from £3.25 and 20 main courses from £6.50 - something to suit everyone! A good children's menu and half portions are available. To help you enjoy your meal, choose from our extensive wine list or our 'specials' board with excellent value wine for under £6.00 a bottle!
Our formal Dining Room is only open for advance reservations for parties of 10 or over. This also applies to our "special" 7 course Scottish Dinner. We can cater for weddings and other celebrations for up to 80 people.
Meeting and Conference Room
Our Hotel can cater for all your requirements whether on business or pleasure. Relax in the quiet comfort of the residents' lounge or hold that important meeting in our small but well appointed meeting room, which can accommodate up to 45 people 'theatre' style and 24 'boardroom' style. It is 40 foot long and 16 foot wide.
