 | Situated in the annexe of the Farmer's Boy Inn, all of our five rooms (built in 2005) offer a comfortable place to spend a good night's sleep.
All our en suite rooms have colour television, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities and three have broadband internet connection (a card can be purchased from the bar to access this) for our business guests or indeed anyone who would like this facility. |
We strive to make your stay as pleasant as possible and will do our utmost to see that you get the most out of it by pointing out local events and places to visit.
The late May Bank Holiday sees the Cooper's Hill Cheese Roll. A Double Gloucester Cheese is rolled down a virtually vertical hill and daring or foolhardy people scramble after it. The winner takes the Cheese. It is however easier and safer to sample this delight in our restaurant.
Other local places of note are nearby May Hill, Monmouth, Chepstow and Goodrich Castles, Tintern Abbey, Symmonds Yat, Puzzle Wood, Dean Valley Railway, Clearwell Caves and the list goes on and on and on!
The Farmer's Boy Inn was originally a coaching house but is now owned and run by Phil and Kate, who are both members of the British Institute of Inn Keepers (a professional body for the pub and catering trades).
The pub has something to wet anyone's taste buds, with a selection of real ales, draught beers and fine wines to compliment your meal.
Log fires in the lounge and restaurant add to the charm and really help customers unwind with a 'home from home' atmosphere.
The larger beer garden is glourious on warm days and has a safe play area for the kids. Your dog is welcome to come and join in the fun too! |
