Cawthorne
With its beautiful Cannon Hall, Park and gardens. For 200 years this fine country house was home to the Spencer-Stanhope family. Set in 70 acres of historic parkland which includes beautiful formal gardens. Adjoining Cannon Hall is the Cannon Hall Open Farm, a world of animal magic. Enjoy home cooked food in the tearoom later.

West Bretton, Nr Wakefield - Yorkshire Sculpture Park
With its display of sculpture in the open air, set in the beautiful landscape of the Bretton Estate.

Elsecar Heritage Centre
A unique centre that has something for everyone. Rich in industrial heritage the restored workshops are now a legacy to past innovation. The centre also has a craft centre, steam railway and tea room.

York
Britains finest medieval city with its Minster, City Walls, excellent museums including the National Railway Museum (An hours drive from "Fell House).

Barnsley
With the hustle and bustle of its famous market which is over 700 years old and still stands five days a week. Barnsley is also one of the up and coming places for a great night out, new pubs, cafe bars and night clubs put Barnsley at the top of a premier night out.

The Peak District
A lovely drive from "Fell House" will soon bring you to the heart of this popular National Park. Chatsworth House, Buxton, Castleton and the "Blue John" Caverns. Also Bakewell, Eyam (the plague village) and Haddon Hall.

Haworth
Home of the Brontes. They were an extraordinary family. Charlotte, Emily and Anne wrote some of the worlds greatest novels including Jane Eyre, "Wuthering Heights" and "The Tenant of Wildfell Hall". Haworth Parsonage was their lifelong home while its moorland setting provided their inspiration. The Parsonage contains period rooms with original furnishings and displays of their personal treasures pictures, clothes and manuscripts.
