The Rosetted Conservatory Restaurant
The Fernhill Hotel is justly proud of its restaurant. The menu, using the best of local seafood, game and poultry, changes daily, and offers the house speciality of fresh Mull of Galloway lobster, when in season. Traditionally creel caught in grade A waters around the Mull by local fishermen, this delicacy is fresh on a daily basis direct from the hotel's holding facility. Our team is dedicated to ensuring your enjoyment and will gladly cater for all diets, children's high tea and any special requests. The convivial atmosphere of the attractive cocktail bar adjoining the conservatory makes it the perfect place to meet for pre dinner drinks.

Getting to know Galloway
Explore cliff top walks to ruined castles, lonely bays with only the gulls for company, and sandy beaches lapped by the relatively warm waters of the Gulf Stream. Palm trees grow in the balmy air, and the sub tropical Logan Botanic Gardens are only a short drive away.
The hotel offers excellent golf packages at Dunskey, Portpatrick, Creachmore, Stranraer and Wigtown County, Glenluce. Your chance to play the exclusive Cally Golf Course at Gatehouse of Fleet is an opportunity not to be missed! This is only available to you as a resident guest at a McMillan family hotel. The nearby North West Castle Hotel in Stranraer, another sister hotel, offers free use of the leisure facilities, including indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi and curling in the winter months.
