Fieldview Cottage is a pretty property situated on the Downs in West Berkshire in the middle of the small village of Aldworth within a couple of minutes walk of the 300 year old village pub "The Bell Inn" which has won many Camra awards and has recently won yet another award for the most unspoilt pub in England.

Fieldview Cottage is ideally situated for both business people and for those seeking a country break being within 10 miles of the M4 junction 12 Reading and junction 13 Newbury. The A34 is approximately 7 miles away and the railway station at Goring on Thames some two and a half miles with trains direct to London Paddington. Reading and Newbury are both 10 miles drive. Oxford is about 20 miles.

Aldworth is right on the path of the famous Ridgeway, and is ideal for walking cycling and Horse Riding. Oxford, Windsor, Bath are within easy reach and the Thames and the Chilterns are also close by.

There are many places of interest to visit including many National Trust properties, Newbury, Ascot and Windsor racecourses. Henley on Thames now has the award winning River and Rowing Museum, and Oxford with the world famous Ashmoleam and Pitt Rivers Museums.

We are also fortunate to have several Theatres within easy reach at Windsor, Sonning on Thames, Reading, Newbury and several modern cinemas.

There are several golf courses within an 8-mile radius of Fieldview Cottage.

We have numerous small local pubs serving the very best of home cooking to first class restaurants including Indian, Chinese, Italian etc within easy reach.
