The village of Lochaline is 4 miles distant and with its daily ferries to Mull and Oban is the gateway to the inner and outer Hebrides. Although peace and scenery are its main attractions, there are other things to see and do in Morvern: Kiel Church with its fine collection of Celtic crosses in the Session House, enjoy Ardtornish Gardens - particularly beautiful in late spring with it's rhododendrons and azaleas in bloom: the local Heritage Trail will acquaint you with the local sites of historic interest as well as Morvern's abundance of flora and fauna. Diving, fishing, clay pigeon shooting, mountain biking and horse riding are also available locally.

(booking required) The spiritual island of Iona or colourful Tobermary, capital of the beautiful island of Mull, are only short ferry journeys away - so stay and enjoy our part of the Scottish Highlands and Islands. Unforgettable!!!
About 8 miles south of Fort William take the Corran Ferry (5 min. crossing) last ferry 21:00.

Turn left off the ferry and continue along the road which follows roughly the route of the old drover's road, (parts of which you can see on your left) and through some spectacular scenery. Continue past the Kingairloch turnoff until you reach Carnoch Bridge. Turn left, signposted Lochaline/Mull Ferry. The road now becomes single track and care is required as sheep, cows, deer etc are likely to be encountered! Continue past the turning on the left for Ardtornish Estate, and just before you reach Lochaline Village turn right along the road signposted to Drimnin. Fiunary Cottage is 4 miles along this road on the right. A green garage stands close to the road and the cottage is set back off the road.
NB: Services Locally:
Doctor, Local Shop providing usual provisions including petrol and diesel, Post Office, Hotel/Restaurant and the well known Whitehouse Restaurant.
