 Nestled in the heart of the Hampshire countryside lies the Fox and Hounds Freehouse Pub located in the picturesque village of Crawley. A typical English rural village, Crawley has remained unchanged by time. Boasting a village pond, church and thatched cottages. Crawley is the ideal setting for rural tranquillity. |
The Fox and Hounds has remained the real centre of the village since the 19th Century. Rebuilt in 1910 in spectacular mock Tudor style, the Fox and Hounds has changed little maintaining this unusual charm and character. Our Menus combine Traditional foods with foods from around the world and with a quality that is second to none.Our products such as fresh Fish, Meat and Vegetables are all supplied to us daily from our local suppliers. We like to treat our customers, as we would like to be treated when we dine out ourselves. |
The Fox and Hounds has recently extended its hospitality by converting its outhouses into four impressive chalets. Each has an en-suite bathroom, colour TV and fridge. Each chalet has been named after the species of ducks that visit the local pond. Mandarin, Philippine, Gadwall and Rosebill.  Offering bed and breakfast but remaining separate from the pub allows the occupier to choose their type of stay. |
| To Find Us From Winchester Follow the signs for Stockbridge ( B3049 ) just past the right turn for Littleton you will see a sign for the Fox and Hounds turn right and continue straight on the road for approximately 3 miles. In front of you will see a duck pond turn right then immediately left the Fox and hounds is 300 yards on the left, A warm welcome a waits. From Andover, Romsey and Salisbury Travel to Stockbridge. From Stockbridge follow the signs for Winchester after about 4 miles take the left hand turning sign posted Crawley, Littleton and The Fox & Hounds after about 1.5 miles you will see the duck pond on you left turn immediately left the Fox and hounds is 300 yards on the left, A warm welcome a waits. |
