Gable End originally opened for business in March 1995. In August 2000, Mary Joseph and their girls acquired the business and offer a warm Irish welcome to their family run guesthouse, only five minutes from Gatwick airport. The guesthouse was extended and completely refurbished in late 2003. We are a non smoking guest house. All rooms are en-suite. Power showers, tea/coffee making facilities, TV, Hairdryer and iron are available on request. We serve full English breakfast between 7.30am to 9.00am and a full continental breakfast is available for early departures. We offer parking for Gatwick airport at £25.00 per week for our guests and £5.00 a day for non-guests. We provide courtesy transport to and from the airport from 7.00am to 9.00am. However, in the very rare event we are unable to take guests to or from the airport, local taxis are available at a cost of about £4.00. Nearby is a wonderful old 15th Century pub called Ye Olde Six Bells with traditional English Food. The centre of Horley is about 6 to 7 minutes walk from us where there are a variety of restaurants (Chinese, Italian, Indian, take-a-ways, etc) Rates and reservations All rates are per room per night and include full English breakfast for each guest.
