 | Green Gables is a large characterful detached Edwardian houseset back from the road. All the spacious and bright rooms are en suite with shower and W.C; all rooms have telephone remote control colour TV, beverage tray and a selection of paperbacks. Off street car parking is guaranteed in ample screened car park - a feature not common in the city. |
| Two of the nine rooms are on the ground floor and one is fully equipped for wheelchair use, with ramp to front door, no internal steps and an adapted bathroom. |  |
 | The house was built in 1914 for a local Oxford merchant and it retains its original atmosphere and comfort. It lies just over one mile from the city centre. Frequent buses leave for the city from a stop 30 yards away. Alternatively, you can reach the centre by taking a fine walk along the River Thames, with splendid views across the famous medieval Christ Church Meadows. |
| We are half a mile from the ring road making us easy to find and providing for an easy journey to the nearby attractions of Blenheim Palace, Stratford upon Avon, the Cotswold Hills and the beautiful Vale of the White Horse. |
