| The Gadlys Country House. This lovely family run hotel was built around 1897. It has operated as a country house hotel for over 100 years and has recently been beautifully and sensitively restored to its original condition. The Hotel stands within its own seven acres of lawns and garden on a prominent hillside position overlooking Cemaes Bay. A ten minute walk along a country lane will get you to the sea front and headland. |


| The Gadlys Dining Room and Restaurant. Tastefully furnished, the Gadlys Dining room and separate Restaurant make an ideal setting for a light lunch, candlelit dinner, or business entertaining. We can comfortably seat 60 in the dining room and 28 in the less formal bar restaurant. Afternoon teas are served daily between 3 and 5pm. The Gadlys is open to non-residents. Our Head Chef offers a diverse menu with seafood specialities and dishes are prepared from fresh local a'la carte produce. Special diets and vegetarian meals are also available. Our wines are carefully selected to fully compliment your meal. |


| The Lounge & Bar. The Lounge, with its comfortable sofas has a homely atmosphere, ideal for you to enjoy a quiet drink before and after your meal. |


| The Bedrooms. Each bedroom is individually decorated and furnished in Victorian décor to compliment the age of the hotel. All rooms are ensuite and have tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer and colour TV. Special Occasions. The Gadlys is a perfect venue for a range of occasions large or small, formal or informal and parties are tailor-made to your individual needs. Our function room can seat 60 for special events, such as weddings and family or staff parties, Conferences of various sizes can also be accommodated. |
| Things to do and see in Cemaes Bay. There is something in the Cemaes District for everyone, the artist, walker, the cyclist, naturalist, historian, sportsman or the visitor who just wants to escape the stress of modern life. This is a "Walkers Paradise" with country walks around the beautiful headland and quiet country lanes. There are working windmills and watermills, celtic ruins, wildlife preserves, sheltered lagoons and shingle beaches. Just a few minutes from the hotel is Llanbadrig Church, AD440, with its Icthus stone dating back to the 4th Century. There are local fishing and pleasure boat excursions that the hotel reception will be happy to book for you. For golfers, there are 3 testing courses in the area. The hotel offers a winter package to include B&B and golf. We can pre-book your Tee times. |

Also in your room you will find: Tea and coffee making facilities - Hair dryer - Colour television Sharing £40.00 (4 Poster) or £35.00 Standard Singles £55.00 (4 Poster) or £45.00 Standard Booking confirmation/Guaranteed Reservation We accept bookings by telephone or by post, which will be confirmed on receipt of non refundable deposit, per person, for the first night's stay. Cancellations Our cancellation policy is a minimum of 48 hours notice. Bookings cancelled within the 48 hour period will be liable for the cost of the full booking. We will of course do our best to re-book the room, in which case guest liability extends only to the deposit. Holiday Insurance is recommended. Vacating bedrooms Bedrooms are normally available from 2.00 p.m. on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 11.00 a.m. on the date of departure. If this is not convenient, please discuss with the receptionist. Method of payment Payment in full is requested at the beginning of your stay if not booked in advance. We accept Visa/Access/Switch cards, cheques supported by Cheque Guaranteed Cards up to the limit of the card - and of course cash. Pets We regret that pets cannot be accommodated. |
| How to find us. The hotel is easy to find. From Chester, take the A55 towards Bangor. Follow the A55 towards Holyhead. Exit the A55 at Junction 3, Valley and Trearddur Bay at the cross roads in Valley turn right on to A5025, towards Amlwch. The Gadlys Country House Hotel is signposted about half a mile on the left out of Cemaes Bay. |
