A spacious house situated in the centre of a country village with a large garden with plenty of space for children to play in.

| Accommodation consists of a family room with a double bed and bunk beds, hot and cold water. A twin room with two single beds, both bedrooms have televisions. There's a bathroom and a shower room, both with toilets. There's a dining room and a sitting room with colour television, coal fires and full central heating. Garth House is a working small holding with cattle, pigs, sheep, horses, hens as well as family pets. Children are very welcome with a swing, climbing frame and toys to occupy them, plus baby sitting is available if needed. |

| There are many places of interest in the area which can be visited in less than half an hour: York, Harrogate, Helmsley, Sutton Bank, the White Horse, Fountains Abbey and stately homes to name but a few places. The market town of Thirsk is only 15 minutes away where James Herriot (author of the famous vet books) had his practice. Lightwater Valley is very near, where the whole family can spend a full day. The beautiful scenery of the Yorkshire Moors is also easily reached, there are plenty of pubs and inns round and about for eating out, all with reasonable prices. For the more sporting types there's the racecourse, the golf course, plenty of fishing and there's also a badminton court available for hire in the village.Good English breakfasts in the mornings and coffee or tea are available on arrival and before going to bed if wanted.
