Welcome to Gate Lodge....a superb guest house

A Victorian house which has been extensively refurbished to a high standard and situated close to the centre of Hunstanton the sandy beaches and theatre. You are sure to appreciate the warm friendly and relaxing atmosphere, whilst being ideally placed for all the amenities that Hunstanton and the famous Norfolk coastline has to offer.

Special facilities include our luxury room and two ground floor rooms.
Our gated, illuminated car park is located at the rear of the property.
For the comfort of all guests we are a no smoking establishment.

Accommodation

Our seven bright and spacious en-suite bedrooms are equipped to an extremely high standard. The house has a warm and friendly atmosphere encouraging guests to relax and feel at home.

Each room has been fitted with all that will make your stay at Gate Lodge a memorable experience.

Our two ground floor rooms overlook the attractive garden, whilst the upper bedrooms all enjoy sea views.

The well appointed lounge has a small licensed bar and a number of comfortable settees. A selection of books, games, magazines and a daily newspaper are always available, as is the television and radio.

Gate Lodge has an attractive, sheltered garden with patio area where you can enjoy a relaxing drink or unwind with a good book, whilst soaking up the "Sunny Hunny" climate.

Tariff

Prices are from £29 per person per night, with a £2 reduction for stays of 5 or more nights.
Single night supplement may apply at certain times of the year.

Breakfast

Breakfast, which is included in the tariff, is served in our bright and airy dining room, where a varied menu is available. In addition to the traditional English breakfast, guests can help themselves to a selection of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, our special homemade fruit compote, grapefruit and a selection of fruit juices. A choice of teas or coffee is also served.

Our renowned traditional breakfast uses only the best, locally sourced produce.
A continental breakfast consisting of croissants and Danish pastries is also available.
Alternatives, such as, fully skimmed milk or soya milk, low sugar marmalade, decaffeinated tea and coffee and fruit teas are always available.

Spoil yourself in our Luxury room

Why not pamper yourself in our sumptuous and well-appointed luxury room with its enchanting and comfortable four-poster king size bed. This generously proportioned, double aspect room, with its large settee enables you to relax in style, whilst listening to CDs or DVDs on the flat screen television.

The full size bathroom with bath and shower and luxurious bathrobes and toiletries help to make your stay in this room a special occasion.

£36 per person per night with a £2 reduction for stays of 5 nights or more.

Places to visit

Hunstanton is an ideal base for discovering the pleasures of the North Norfolk coast. Royal Sandringham and the Holkham Estate are close by, whilst a short journey along the coast will take you to villages and small towns with their picturesque quays and inns.

Bird watchers, walkers and nature lovers are spoilt for choice, with the RSPB reserves at Titchwell and Snettisham close at hand. The coastal path and Peddars Way footpath are nearby and offers walkers a chance to view the glorious Norfolk scenery.

Historic Kings Lynn is only 15 miles away and the city of Norwich with its castle, cathedral and extensive shopping is just over an hours drive from Hunstanton.
