Our elegant double fronted house was built at the turn of the century and is set in a beautiful mature garden where it is possible to listen to the sound of the birds.
We are situated in a private tree lined lane with parking at the front and just eight minutes from the city centre and twelve minutes from the spectacular cathedral, making it an idyllic place to stay.

Salisbury is a mediaeval city with many historic buildings, museums, the ruins of Old Sarum, the cathedral with its tall spire and oldest working clock in England. The largest doom painting in the world is in St Thomas' church. There are the stately homes of Wilton, Longleat, Breamore and the ancient monument of Stonehenge close by.

Salisbury is a good shopping centre and has a busy market on a Tuesday and Saturday.
The New Forest and the south coast beaches are within a short car ride or for the more energetic a bicycle can be hired in town and there are picturesque rides and walks. Salisbury has many styles of entertainment including the Playhouse, Arts Centre, cinema and City Hall. There is a festival at the end of May, which is a high spot on the calendar.
The city has great many different types of restaurants, most within a short walk.
