Glenmarkie Riding Centre - known to most for Perthshires best rides for Horse Riding
Open April - November
Escape to Glenmarkie riding centre in the heart of Scotland. Superb riding in spectacular countryside.
Our rides will take you along winding forest tracks, into the most beautiful secluded glen and out across the hills, and all without the need to ride on the roads. The views are breath taking.
B&B for horses is available from £5 per night.
You are more than welcome to bring your own horse with you, so they can have a holiday too. Or you can ride one of our well turned out horses or ponies as we have a fine selection for riders of all ages and abilities, from beginner to experienced.
Treks range from one hour, two hours or half a day to include a picnic lunch.
Should you wish to learn to ride you may attend a lesson with our qualified instructor.
Pony Camps & Pony Parties
Glenmarkie also holds children's summer pony camps for ages 8 - 18 years old.
You do not need to be experienced nor do you need your own pony as hire is available.
Pony camps last for 5 days and will include trekking, lessons, stable-management, full board and full supervision. All you need to bring is your tent.
'Pony Parties' and 'Adopt and pony' days can also be arranged throughout the season.. |
