En-suite bedrooms, which have recently been refurbished to a very high standard are available at this Victorian sandstone town house.
A convenient base for touring Dumfries and Galloway, we welcome walkers, Golfing enthusiasts, cyclists and motor cyclists. Pet owners are welcome by prior arrangement . All of our guest rooms offer the following facilities as standard:- tea/ coffee making facilities, hairdryer, TV and central heating.
Glenure is situated within easy walking distance from the railway station and town centre, there are also a good range of restaurants nearby.
We are a non-smoking establishment and offer off-street parking. You are assured of a friendly welcome and our personal service at all times.

The en-suite Family Room is tastefully decorated providing both a double and single bed with space for a cot if required. Overlooking the David Keswick Centre Athletic Track this room is very popular with guests.
The twin room is a brightly decorated room, again en-suite.

There is a single en-suite room and a single room with private use of an adjacent bathroom.

 | The dining room is also tastefully decorated and has an original cast iron fireplace. An extensive breakfast menu is served between 7:30am and 9am or earlier by arrangement.

Local Activities
For Robert Burns Enthusiasts There are many attractions including the Robert Burns House in which he spent the last years of his life, also Ellisland farm which is approximately 6 miles North of Dumfries which was the home of the Bard from 1788-1791.
Castle & Historic Attractions There are numerous castles close to Dumfries including Drumlanrig Castle - home to Duke of Buccleuch which has Victorian Gardens , adventure playground, craft centre and woodland walks.
Caerlaverock Castle is 8 miles South East of Dumfries. The meaning of Caerlaverock is 'Larks Nest', it is a moated castle and also has a children's adventure play park.
Camera Obscura Situated on the top floor of the windmill tower at Dumfries Museum , you will see panoramic views over the town.
Cycling There are numerous cycle trails in and around Dumfries including Mabie, Dalbeattie and Ae forests. Visit the only museum in Scotland at Drumlanrig Castle depicting the history of cycling from the 19 th century to the present day.
Fun for All the Family Dumfries Ice Bowl Leisure Complex , Mabie Farm Park , Dumfries and Galloway Aviation Museum and choose from more than 20 different ice-cream flavours at Drummuir Farm.
Walking There are some beautiful beach and cliff walks, and for the more enthusiastic walkers- try the Southern Upland Way.
Walks in the forests of Mabie, Ae and Galloway may provide you with a glimpse of Red Deer and Red Squirrel. Birds of Prey are a common sight - Buzzards and the occasional Red Kite.
