By getting an experienced guide to take guide you around the eight-mile walk that goes across the Morcambe Bay. Generally you will start at Arnside and end at Kents Bank. During the three hour walk you can see ducks, breath taking coastline views, oyster catchers as they gather the shellfish and all the other magic that is part of the bay. Those unfamiliar shouldn't do this walk without a guide. There are many trouble areas that they can guide you around, the last thing you want to worry about is getting stuck in quick sand or go on the walk during the high tide.
For the golfers in the family, Grange over Sands Golf Club is a 18-hole course with stunning views of the surrounding woods and open countryside. You can also check out the 9-hole Grange Fell Golf Course or if you're with the family and want to practice your putting, then the Promenade Recreation Ground is the spot to stop, it has mini golf courses and putting greens for those who aren't interested in a full game.
The Promenade Recreation Ground is home to many fun activities for the family. You can play mini golf and tennis among other things. Once you're done with those activities you can hit the Promenade Cafe for a quick bite to eat or something to drink.
