SET IN THE HEART OF THE NEW FOREST NATIONAL PARK An area of exceptional beauty in Southern England betwixt Southampton and Bournemouth with good road and rail links - Heathrow is 1 ½hours drive. The New Forest's traditions stretch back 900 years when William the Conqueror set aside this area of outstanding countryside for his own private deer hunting. Many of the unique customs of the area date back to this time. Internationally renowned for its free-roaming ponies and livestock, the area is now a national nature reserve and conservation area. Many examples of rare fauna and flora are to be found only here. Looking through the forest to Brackenwood "THE DAIRY" and "THE GARDEN COTTAGE" Delightfully situated in the beautiful New Forest village of Burley, a designated National Park and conservation area these charming cottages offer self-contained holiday accommodation for those seeking comfort and style.Enter over the cattlegrids to prevent the New Forest ponies straying into the gardens. Walk directly into the forest opposite where you may see deer, foxes, badgers, buzzards and owls in their natural habitat. Riding stables, golf course bicycle hire, horsedrawn wagon rides, village inns and shops are a short stroll away.The nearest sandy beach at Highcliffe Castle is a 15 minute drive. Our cottages are attractively furnished to a high standard and are extremely well equipped. All of our cottages are 'non-smoking' only

The accommodation consists of Front door leading to a long hallway, (large cupboard with travel cot + Z bed) Cloakroom with WC and basin. Fitted oak kitchen with ceramic hob, fan oven, fridge/freezer and microwave Outside laundry room with tumble dryer and washing machine. Sitting/dining room with TV and Video/DVD player 2 comfortable sofas (one converts to a double bed), oak dining table and chairs, french windows to patio and gardens. Bedroom with 5' iron four-poster bed Private parking for 2 cars Large bathroom with bath (shower over)WC, bidet and basin. THE GARDEN COTTAGE Self Catering for 2 Formerly the Gardeners cottage attached to a New Forest country house, now beautifully and luxuriously decorated and furnished to create a truly idyllic holiday retreat. Garden Cottage enjoys its own private area of patio and garden with teak table, and chairs, a parasol and barbecue for use in fine weather. You may also walk directly into the forest from here. The accommodation consists of Living Room with comfortable armchairs, television and dvd player, small dining table and chairs, German mini kitchen behind cupboard doors in living room, comprising of 2 ring hob, microwave, sink and fridge, granite top dresser, french doors to patio and garden and path to private parking area. Cloakroom with WC and basin. Pretty Edwardian style bathroom with gold plated taps, double ended bath with hand shower, WC, bidet and basin set in a maple vanity unit. Hallway with staircase leads to a landing area with armchair seating. Bedroom with king size 6 foot draped bed (can convert to Twin beds if preferred), antique bedside and dressing tables. Outside Laundry room, with Tumble Dryer and auto-washing machine. Sorry no children or pets allowed Grazing with shelter available for horses.
