The Greswolde is an elegant Victorian Hotel consisting of 8 bedrooms. The atmosphere of this lovely house is that of a bygone era of the Victorian age as it retains much of the original character and charm of this period and is full of Victorian and interesting memorabilia.

Facilities

The Lounge / Reading Room is very comfortable and open at all times for those wishing to relax in a tranquil atmosphere.

Our Dining Room has a cosy intimate atmosphere where you will enjoy your start to the day with a good English breakfast.

Both of these rooms are well decorated in the Victorian Style. We have strived to achieve a high standard and can boast as having been recommended by the RAC, AA and the English Tourism Board.

The spacious bedrooms, all of which are comfortable and decorated to a very high standard, are en suite and are equipped with colour televisions and tea and coffee making facilities.

Location

The area has good beaches and one of the most attractive coastlines on the Kent Coast with cliff top walks. There is a Sports Complex and Indoor Swimming Pool nearby.

There are also numerous bowling greens and an 8 lane indoor rink. There are many excellent golf courses in this part of Kent, North Foreland, Canterbury, Deal and Walmer and Kingsdown. All of these courses have open weeks when you can play in competitions at a reduced green fee.

To complete your holiday why not take a trip to France? We are within easy reach of the Channel ports, Dover 15 miles (24 km), Ramsgate 5 miles (8 km) and Channel Tunnel 30 miles, so do bring your passport.

Should you wish to see the English Countryside, the County of Kent as The garden of England. There are many places of historical interest - Canterbury Cathedral, Sandwich, and the castles of Dover, Walmer and Leeds.

London: 80 miles (128 km) by car or coach or relax on the train as there is a regular service which takes 1 hour 40 minutes.
