THE GROVE END HOTEL is a small, welcoming family run establishment with 29 rooms that has been in business for the past 35 years. It is situated just off junction 5 of the M1 on the B462 and is ideally situated for the A41, A1, and M25, junction 19. It is also within easy reach of Heathrow, Luton and Elstree Airports. The centre of London is just 16 miles away by car or 20 minutes by train from Watford Junction. THE GROVE END HOTEL is situated in an acre of lovely gardens and has its own free car park for guests. It has rooms to suit most peoples pockets and taste, from the basic single rooms to family rooms through to en-suite we try to make your stay a pleasant one. Also available is a full English cooked buffet breakfast at a price you can afford. In keeping with the rest of the hotel there is a small welcoming bar in which you can relax in the evenings. Bar food is available from 7.30 pm until 9.00 pm from our varied menu. The bar is open until 11.00 pm Monday to Thursdays only. Any guest wishing to stay at weekends is on a bed and breakfast basis only. The en-suite rooms all have satellite television, shower, toilet, wash hand basin, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial telephone and radio alarm. All standard rooms have satellite television, wash hand basin and tea making facilities. RESERVATIONS By phone, letter or fax. Check-in times from 1pm to 11pm however all bookings must be claimed before 6pm on day of arrival, no guarantee is given that rooms will be reserved unless confirmed by either full payment, deposit, letter or fax. Latest check-out time is 10.30am. PAYMENT Payment for the total duration of your stay is payable on arrival all meals and drinks should be paid for at the time of ordering. We are happy to accept visa, MasterCard and Euro card credit cards also cheques but only when supported by a valid cheque guarantee card. CANCELLATIONS AND NON ARRIVAL We will not charge you for a cancellation providing that we can re let the room and that we have been notified no later than 12 noon of that day before arrival otherwise the full amount will be charged. FROM LONDON M1 to Junction 5 then onto A41 going to Harrow, at first roundabout, take the last exit on to B462 we are on this road at the next roundabout. FROM HEATHROW AIRPORT M4, then follow signs for M25 for Watford, leave at Junction 19 and on to A41 stay on A41 until you come to M1 Junction 5, just after this you will come to a roundabout take the last exit on to B462 we are on this road at the next roundabout.
