Gunville House dates from the 18th Century and is a charming thatched, beamed family house. It is in a secluded, rural situation just outside the village of Grateley.
We look out onto Quarley Hill, believed to be the site of an Iron Age hill fort.

We pride ourselves on attention to detail and making our guests feel welcome.

The Village and the Local Area

Grateley is a quiet village about 4 miles south west of Andover and is famous for being where the first code of law for England was laid down by King Athelstan in 928 AD. It has a 13th Century Church, Post Office, good pub and golf driving range.

The area is world famous for its chalk streams, offering superb fishing for Brown and Rainbow Trout.

We are ideally situated as a base for those who wish to be within easy reach of Salisbury, Stonehenge, Winchester, and Marlborough (all within 20 minutes by car). The historic Cities of Portsmouth, Oxford and Bath are all easily accessible.

We are close to the main road links to the West Country, Wales, the Midlands and the North.
