Halfway House Private Farm House

Hawes, North Yorkshire, DL8 3LL

Telephone: 01969 667442

Welcome...

Want to get away from the hectic chaos of everyday life? Are you longing for the country life with long walks and glorious sunsets?

Cindy invites you to stay at her recently renovated traditional detached Dales Farmhouse.

As our only guests, we can offer you the privacy you may be looking for in a quiet few days away from it all. You will be free to enjoy your own double en-suite room and personal guest lounge where you can lock the world out and luxuriate in the lazy mornings and quiet evenings that we know you will remember for a long time.

Surrounded by the rolling hills and fields of the spectacular Yorkshire Dales National Park, a warm and friendly welcome always awaits you in our home.

A well stocked garden and private parking means you can rest in the warmth of the summer sunshine and read your newspaper far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but close enough to the small market town of Hawes, where you can enjoy a wide selection of eateries and locally brewed ales.

Wensleydale, with its wealth of waterfalls, rivers and exhilarating walks over fell and dale, is a stunningly beautiful place, filled with pheasants, sheep and lambs, misty autumn mornings, legends and folklore.

Whether you walk, explore, or just relax and sample the epicurean delights of the local fare, the Yorkshire Dales will meet your every need.

After a long day, why not have a soak in your deep Victorian bath, full of hot water and bubbles. Snuggle into our soft, cosy dressing gowns before retiring to bed for a good night's sleep, wrapped in our luxurious duck-down duvets, and just enjoy the tranquillity of our home.

Well behaved dogs are welcome at Halfway House.

Guests with small babies are welcome if they bring their own carry cot, but unfortunately we are unable to accommodate children over the age of one.
