| Ha'penny House is a delightful character residence offering guest accommodation in a relaxed atmosphere. It is family run and set in a quiet residential area of Milford-on-Sea not far from the cliff top - from where there are excellent views of the Isle of Wight and The Needles. |
| The village centre is a short walk away either by road or through the Danestream Valley woodlands which border the garden at the rear of the house. An unspoilt village, Milford has a typical village green, good selection of village shops, restaurants and three inns, offering a choice of places to eat. The area has plenty to offer visitors, from walking or cycling the coastal paths and nearby New Forest, to golfing, horse riding and wildlife or simply relaxing by the sea. There is much of local interest including Hurst and Highcliffe Castles, Christchurch Priory, Beaulieu Abbey and The National Motor Museum. Lymington, renowned for its yachting facilities and popular Saturday market, offers a ferry service to the Isle of Wight. Two miles to the west there is an excellent golf course at Barton-on-Sea. Bournemouth and the historic towns of Southampton and Salisbury are all within easy reach making Milford an ideal location for touring. |

| Starting with fresh fruit, a four course full English breakfast is offered or alternatively fish, vegetarian, continental or a 'healthy' choice of fruit, yogurt and cereals. Local ingredients are used when available, including free range eggs. By prior arrangement we will be pleased to cater for guests requiring special diets. Guests are welcome to enjoy the terraced gardens and summer house. There is ample, easy parking on site for guests use. We welcome well behaved children over the age of ten years. Ha'penny House is non smoking in all rooms and we regret we do not accept pets. |
A cosy, one bedroom, self catering ground floor apartment (annexe to Ha'penny House) comprising lounge, dining room, bedroom with double bed, bathroom with bath and shower over, and well equipped kitchen. Clean and comfortably furnished with colour TV, fridge, microwave, electric cooker, central heating and use of washing machines in the laundry room by arrangement. Guests are welcome to enjoy the garden and summer house, with seating, table and bar-be-que provided. All power (including central heating when required) bed linen (duvet) towels and tea towels are included in the rent. Private parking is available. Friday to Friday bookings. | Directions From Lymington follow the A337 towards Christchurch. At Everton, turn left on to the B3058 to Milford-on-Sea.Passing the village green on your left, continue through the village and up on to the cliff road. Continue for approximately a further ¼ mile, turn right into Cornwallis road and at the T junction turn right again into Whitby Road. Ha'penny House is situated about 50 yards on the left hand side. |
