The village of Stalbridge, North Dorset, is situated approximately 7 miles south of the 303 exit at Wincanton, in the heart of the beautiful Blackmore Vale. Nearby facilities include Golf courses, lake and river fishing (licence/tackle shop in village) also cycle hire. There are also many places of historic interestincluding Sherbourne Castle and Abbey, the old hill top town of Shaftsbury, Sturminster Mill and the old Roman county town of Dorchester. We are in the heart of Thomas Hardy country and are 5 minutes away from Tess of the D' Urbervilles Cottage and The Pure Drop Inn.

The beautiful Dorset coast is approximately 45 minutes away with its picturesque views and walks.

Although we are not registered with any tourist boards etc, we pride ourselves as being the equivalent of any 4 star rating.
