Harwood Guest House is privately owned by Helen & Ian Aldridge, offering bed & breakfast accommodation only a few miles from Stansted Airport in Essex.

Upon your arrival, you are guaranteed a warm friendly welcome, a comfortable and relaxing night's sleep in one of our six en-suite bedrooms and a delicious home-cooked breakfast in the morning.

Situated in the pretty market town of Great Dunmow, we are a few minutes stroll from a variety of local restaurants, pubs and shops.

We are a non-smoking establishment with private off-road parking, guest conservatory and our very own licensed taxi driver. All our bedrooms are en-suite and children of all ages are welcome.

Situated in the pretty market town of Great Dunmow and surrounded by beautiful countryside, Harwood Guest House is only 10 minutes from Stansted Airport, but not on the flight path.

All bedrooms are en-suite and tastefully decorated to ensure you have a comfortable stay. Each bedroom is equipped to a high standard with colour TV and video, radio alarm clock and hair dryer, as well as tea and coffee making facilities.

Set in a third of an acre, Harwood Guest House has ample off-road parking and offers a large rear garden with a conservatory for our guests to enjoy.

As well as fruit juices, cereals and toast, a choice of breakfast is included in the price of your stay. You can choose from the traditional great British breakfast, lighter choices such as smoothies and fruit salad, as well as vegetarian options.

Within just a few minutes stroll from Harwood Guest House are a variety of fine local restaurants, bars and country pubs offering everything from bar snacks to a la carte food.
