Greystones is a very charming and comfortable, former farmhouse dating from circa 1620, which offers outstanding and non-smoking guest accommodation in the beautiful Nottinghamshire countryside.Extensively beamed throughout, this delightful 400 year old property is very sympathetically renovated and extended. Retaining a great deal of charm and character, perhaps the most notable feature of the house is its listed original Jacobean staircase. The tiny village of South Scarle is situated in a quiet Conservation Area, between the bustling market town of Newark and the historic city of Lincoln. |

Greystones Guest Accommodation offers four star bed and breakfast in the two lovely suites situated in the main farmhouse:-
Fleur de Lys Suite - double bedroom with en suite shower room.
£50 per suite per night, single occupancy.
£65 per suite per night, double occupancy.

 | Facilities
Within the farmhouse, with its quirky uneven floors and walls, we offer a choice of two superior first floor guest suites. Rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, television, video or dvd player. Guests are welcome to relax in the attractive central courtyard area. The Hayloft, a luxurious apartment created above the barn in Greystones courtyard, offers self catering facilities and the most romantic of settings.
We can also provide evening meals, menus and prices on request, but if you prefer to dine out, then there is an abundance of local country pubs and restaurants offering a variety of menus. The age and layout of Greystones is not suitable for young children or pets. We also adopt a no smoking policy within the buildings.

Finding Us
Follow the A46 from Newark towards Lincoln and at the Newark Showground roundabout, take the first exit left onto the A1133 to Gainsborough. In Collingham continue over the traffic lights and through the village. At the Grey Horse pub (on the left at the crossroads) turn right into Woodhill Road (signposted South Scarle). Take the second turning left (minor road) to South Scarle. Continue up the hill for approximately one mile and at the T-junction turn right into the village of South Scarle. On the left-hand bend opposite Church Farm Shop, turn right into Main Street. Greystones is approximately 100 yards on the left.

| The Stable Apartment is a stunning studio apartment located in the courtyard of Greystones Guest Accommodation. Recently restored from old 17th century farm buildings, it offers beautiful and luxurious accommodation , ideal for short or long , romantic and special breaks. |
 | Big double doors lead from the sunny courtyard into the apartment. The main large room with its beams and vaulted ceiling, houses a huge oak four poster bed. The bed with its Egyption cotton bed linen and soft goosedown quilt , stands in front of an enormous fireplace. The flat screen TV and DVD are mounted on the chimney breast and a big squashy sofa creates a comfortable sitting area. |
