Sheltered by surrounding hills beside a peaceful woodland driveway, Hideaway lies in the heart of Mackenzie country, between Inverness and Ullapool and one mile west of the village of Contin.

Our breakfast menu offers multifarious choices to tempt the taste-buds of even the most discerning of guests including of course the full Scottish breakfast a veritable feast, all to include home baked bread and preserves. There are a numbers of good places for eating out all within a short driving distance.

Location

We are perfectly placed for those wishing to spend an inexpensive relaxing holiday with excellent accommodation whilst exploring the north west highlands where quiet roads lead to some of the finest scenery in Scotland.For the more energetic, a large network of way marked footpaths to suit all capabilities can be accessed from Hideaway via Tor Achilty forest or the Falls of Rogie. We are also close to Ben Wyvis and within easy striking distance of the Fannichs.
