Hilden is an impressive Edwardian house set in 2.5 acres of mature gardens and paddock land, just 50 yards from the open New Forest heath land. It lies just over 2 miles from the coastal Georgian town of Lymington, which is most famous for sailing. Brockenhurst is less than 2 miles to the north of Hilden, with lovely tearooms and a wide variety of restaurants. The majestic Rhinefield Ornamental Drive is home to some of the tallest Redwood and Douglas Fir trees in Britain, always a favourite spot with our guests! Brockenhurst is on the mainline to Bournemouth / Weymouth and is only 1 hour 20 mins from London Waterloo.

Children are welcome to play in our delightful gardens where they can see our resident New Forest donkey!
Well-behaved dogs (on leads) are welcome at a small extra cost to cover cleaning etc.

There are many excellent riding establishments close by catering for all age groups and abilities, where you can arrange a delightful hack out in the Forest. Cycle hire can also be arranged from an excellent hire shop at Brockenhurst.

* Double Suite with fridge, dining area in feature sunny bay window and bathroom. Room only or we can stock the fridge with a basic continental breakfast (milk, orange juice, yoghurts, croissants, cereals etc).

* Self Catering Flat with fully fitted kitchen, double bedroom, twin bed room, small balcony and separate access with splendid views across the lawn and donkey paddocks. The flat is integral to the main house and it is the original servants quarters!

* Colour TV, tea and coffee facilities and full central heating in all rooms.

* Cots and highchairs available.

* Hairdryers and irons by request.

* 200 yards from The Hobler Inn and 1/ 2 mile from The Filly Inn.
