The Hollyhurst Guest House is a privately run, tradition English guest house, offering a warm welcome and all the comforts of home to the business traveler and tourist alike.

Established over many years, the Hollyhurst is today owned and managed by Ken and Trudi Wheat. As local people, we know Kenilworth and the surrounding area very well.

Convenient for the NEC, NAC Stoneleigh Park, and the University of Warwick.

Ideally located in a bustling market town in the Warwickshire countryside, the Hollyhurst lies between Coventry to the north and Warwick and Leamington Spa to the South. It is very well connected to the national motorway system, with easy access to the M1, M6, M40 and M42.

The National Exhibition Centre is a distance of only twelve miles in the direction of Birmingham; the National Agricultural Centre is just four miles away at Stoneleigh and the University of Warwick is a short journey by bus or car of only three miles.
Shakespeare's Stratford Upon Avon is twelve miles to the south.

Close to the Town Centre

Forty Seven Priory Road is a large Victorian house, occupying a prime location close to the town centre and all amenities. There are seven letting bedrooms, including three en suite, a dining room and guest lounge. Private parking is for seven vehicles.

In addition to the many pubs and bars in the town, some of which offer good, value for money pub food, Kenilworth has gained a reputation for the excellence of its restaurants and there is a wide choice of the world's cuisine, within walking distance of the guest house.

No Smoking

We would like to remind you that the guest house is non smoking. We believe this policy is popular with the majority of our visitors. However, we thank those guests affected by the rule, for refraining whilst on the premises.

Historic Kenilworth

The historic town of Kenilworth can best be appreciated by taking a short stroll through the Abbey Fields to the imposing ruined Castle.
Turn right, out of the guest house and walk up Priory Road to the cross roads and go straight over into Bridge Street. You will see the Abbey Fields on your left. If you follow the Finham Brook upstream, you will arrive at the Castle, by the picturesque Kenilworth ford.

Your return journey could be through old Kenilworth via Castle Hill and the High Street, which would bring you back to the traffic lights at the bottom of Bridge Street, near to St Nicholas' church.

As today's proprietors, we are proud of the long standing reputation and maintaining that good reputation and improving the services and facilities provided for our many clients, both new and established.

The award of Three Red Diamonds for Guest Accommodation by the AA Hotel Services demonstrates that we are continuing in the best traditions of the Hollyhurst Guest House.

Booking Conditions

A deposit to cover costs of the first night's accommodation or 30% of total booking, whichever is the greater, is required to secure a booking.

Bookings may be guaranteed by cheque or cash. Sorry, no credit cards!

Please note that deposits are non-refundable if a reservation is not taken up but refundable if the accommodation is re-let.

Provisional bookings not confirmed within one week, will be cancelled.

Cancellation Policy

In the UK, a legally binding contract is entered into when accommodation is booked, either verbally or in writing. Your attention is drawn to the fact that an hotel has the right in law to claim reimbursement for any loss resulting from a cancellation or no show. We operate such a cancellation policy.

Arrival and Departure

Rooms will be ready for occupation by 2.00pm on day of arrival and vacated by 10.30am on day of departure.

At weekends, the preferred arrival time is either before midday or after 5.00pm.
