Honeycombe House Bed and Breakfast, is a family run Victorian house situated a few minutes walk from the centre of the 14th Century picturesque working fishing village of Mevagissey.
It is situated near the top of Polkirt Hill enjoying the most stunning views over both the inner and outer harbours of the village and miles of Cornish coastline. |
Visitors to Mevagissey can explore the narrow streets leading off the harbour, visit the many Craft workshops, Gift shops and Art Galleries, or seek refreshment in the numerous Cafes, Restaurants and Pubs.
Honeycombe House is ideally situated to visit the Lost Gardens of Heligan, a couple of minutes away by car, or the Eden Project which is only 8 miles away, and the new National Maritime Museum at Falmouth is about 20 miles away.
You may even prefer to find a nearby beach or stroll along the South West Coast Path which passes the house. A section of the National Cycle Network runs in front of Honeycombe House, and we have secure storage for bikes. |
There is full central heating, a comfortable guest lounge, and full English breakfast is served in the dining room - which must have one of the best views in Cornwall overlooking the harbour, coastline and bay.
Breakfast is served in the dining room between 8.00 a.m. and 9.00 a.m. during the week, and between 8.30 a.m. and 9.30 a.m. at the weekend, and during school holidays.
There are 5 rooms, which are: 3 doubles with en-suite, 1 twin with en-suite and 1 single room with private bathroom. Our two double en-suite rooms have a large balcony enjoying the same views as the dining room.
