Kyte Lodge- sleeps 8 + 2
Kyte Lodge is a superb barn conversion, with polished wooden floors covering a living space that has been purposely designed to give an open-plan and social layout. This means that when not relaxing in one of the 4 bedrooms, guests are able to fully interact - and nobody is left stuck in the kitchen!
This Lodge features high-pitched beams and exposed stonework, giving it a real country feel. An enormous wooden table will comfortably seat up to ten guests for some memorable mealtimes! The features and furnishings include;
- large comfortable sofa's
- television, CD player and radio
- dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave
- all the crockery you will need for your stay
Outside the Lodge there are stunning southerly views, which can also be enjoyed through the large double doors that lead from the living room and onto a private terrace, complete with seating and your own barbeque (in the summer season).
Your party can also enjoy one hour a day in our heated swimming pool, which will be allocated only to your group and in complete privacy. It's the perfect activity, offering a refreshing dip in the summer and the chance to relax in heated comfort during the cooler months.
As well as the large central living and dining area, the downstairs space also includes two bedrooms - one with en-suite shower - a family bathroom and a modern well equipped kitchen. Upstairs there are two further bedrooms, one with en-suite shower. With all four bedrooms offering zip-linked beds for the choice of two twins or one king-size, the sleeping arrangements reflect the flexible and easy going theme of the Lodge. There is even a double sofa bed in the living room for parties of more than eight people.

Kestrel Lodge- sleeps 8 + 2
Kestrel Lodge is our second spacious barn conversion, beautifully restored and featuring original wooden beams and a light and airy feeling throughout.
Polished wooden floors cover a downstairs living space that includes a large family bedroom with en-suite shower and two further double bedrooms; all offering zip-linked beds for the choice of two twins or one king-size. There is also a big family bathroom and modern well-equipped kitchen. Upstairs has one further bedroom with en-suite shower room. Kestrel Lodge is a particularly social space, and the open plan layout means you are able to enjoy a real sense of involvement.
High-pitched ceilings and exposed stonework add to the wonderful country feel. A huge wooden table will comfortably seat up to ten guests for some truly memorable mealtimes! The features and furnishings include;

The Nest - sleeps 2 + 2
Stunning views from a romantic hideaway! If that sounds like your kind of break then The Nest is ideal for you.
The Nest is the latest addition to our family of self-catering cottages, and it has been lovingly renovated. Situated in the main Kingfisher Barn loft but with its very own lobby entrance, all of the accommodation is on the first floor and offers unparalleled views.
From the lobby, climb the stairs to find the beautiful living room and romantic main bedroom, featuring a dramatic double bed with a beautiful overhead canopy. On your right you will see the large window that stretches the length of the cottage. From this cosy sanctuary you can look across the open fields towards Abingdon, and even watch the sun setting in the evening sky. The remainder of the cottage is very well appointed, and includes;
- a living area with comfy sofas and a television
- a fully fitted kitchen with cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave
- all the cutlery and crockery you'll need
- telephone and Internet access
- a double sofa bed for extra guests
Outside The Nest you will find your own very private decking area with seating and barbeque (in the summer season). You will be undisturbed at this end of the barn, and this area is the ideal place to spend a relaxing evening enjoying the surroundings.

Granary Cottage- sleeps 2 + 2
The charming Granary Cottage is set over two floors, offering a cosy accommodation that feels surprisingly spacious.
The ground floor offers a well-equipped kitchen with washing machine/dryer, microwave and fridge freezer. The lounge also contains a wooden dining table that will comfortably seat four people. There's also a large frontage to this cottage, with a patio area and outdoor seating in which to relax and enjoy the scenery!
Climb the winding stairs and you'll discover the main bedroom and shower room. The bedroom features zip linked beds, which means you can choose between two singles beds or one king-sized.
As with all our self-catering accommodation, you are also entitled to private and exclusive use of our swimming pool for one hour a day, every day, throughout your stay with us.
Finished with exposed beams throughout the building, Granary Cottage offers a wonderful romantic hideaway. It also happens to holds the coveted record of being our most re-booked self-catering Cottage. |
Hazel Cottage- sleeps 4
Nestled between a grassed area and a walled courtyard, the ever-popular Hazel Cottage is one of our properties that has been fully adapted to accommodate wheelchair users.
There is a wide and low-level front door that allows easy access into the Cottage, where you'll find all rooms are set on the ground floor. As with all of our self-catering units, Hazel Cottage has a fully fitted kitchen with cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave. This kitchen also has the added feature of a height-adjustable hob and sink, allowing a wheelchair to fit underneath.
Turn left into the Cottage to find the larger bedroom, complete with a Wispa ceiling track, which can be prepared with hoist and sling free of charge. Next to the main bedroom is a shower room also fitted with ceiling tracking and shower chair available on request.
At the far end of the cottage, just off the kitchen, is a cosy second bedroom with bunk beds, completing the layout of this versatile accommodation.
As with all our self-catering accommodation, you are also entitled to private and exclusive use of our swimming pool for one hour a day, every day, throughout your stay with us.
With easy access and some dedicated equipment, Hazel Cottage is the perfect place to enjoy a quiet getaway. |
Stable Cottage- sleeps 6
The impressive Stable Cottage is the largest of our three self-catering units, and like Hazel Cottage it has also been designed for wheelchair users.
There is a wide and low-level front door that allows easy access, and all rooms are set on the ground floor. Once inside you'll see a welcoming, open plan living and dining area complete with a large table for up to six guests. As with all of our self-catering units, Stable Cottage has a fitted kitchen with cooker, fridge/freezer and Microwave. This kitchen also has the added feature of a height-adjustable hob and sink, allowing a wheelchair to fit underneath.
The cottage features two large bedrooms containing twin beds, and a smaller bedroom with bunk beds just off the living area. The larger bedroom at the rear has its own shower room, and is fitted with Wispa ceiling tracking for when the use of a hoist is required. The hoist and sling can be provided free of charge during your stay with us without charge, please let us know at the time of booking.
Outside the Cottage is a private, walled patio area with outdoor seating providing a peaceful spot from which to enjoy the lovely surroundings.
As with all our self-catering accommodation, you are also entitled to private and exclusive use of our swimming pool for one hour a day, every day, throughout your stay with us.
This is a good-sized Cottage with easy access and also featuring dedicated equipment. It offers a wonderful space where family and friends can enjoy a holiday. |

Our dedicated B&B accommodation caters for businessmen and women who require shorter stays. Close to major routes like the A34, M4 and M40, Kingfisher Barn is the perfect place to spend the night in peaceful surroundings. We'll make sure that even a flying visit is every bit as relaxing and enjoyable.
Situated around a courtyard garden, we offer two double rooms and eight twin rooms for our guests. Prepared to our typical high standards, our rooms are very comfortable, homely, fresh and clean - and all have an en-suite bath or shower room with toiletries and fresh towels provided. You can also wake to a continental breakfast, delivered to your door!
