A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at Knox Bed & Breakfast. We are a small family run establishment that offers quality Bed and Breakfast accommodation or if preferred room only.

Established for 20 years we have maintained our standards throughout with large brightly decorated and well furnished accommodation, with facilities to match. We also provide resident parking facilities for our guests.

Even if you don’t have a car we are on the main bus routes between Ayr and Glasgow and beyond and the local Railway Station is less than 1 mile away. We are within 1 mile of Glasgow Prestwick Airport and also within easy reach of all the leisure attractions and facilities you would want including local Championship Class golf courses (Royal Troon and Prestwick Old course to name only 2) Ayr Racecourse, Prestwick indoor Bowling arena, and the Ayr Northfield Bowling rink. Other tourist attractions nearby include Culzean Castle and Burns Cottage and Heritage Centre.

Or if shopping is your preference then Ayr town centre with all the major retailers is only a 5 minute bus ride away. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars nearby in Prestwick town centre which will cater for every taste.

A substantial Scottish Breakfast…our speciality…is served every morning and we can also cater for any special dietary needs you may have. Please just ask on arrival and we can accommodate same.

All in all we offer a real quality and value for money service. All enquiries are welcome. Please note though we are a completely NO SMOKING house.
