Laundimer House is situated 3 miles south/east of Corby, set in 63 acres of farmland. It is one mile from the nearest house and only 300 metres from a two thousand-acre forest.

Accommodation

We can offer two double bedrooms and one single cabin room - all with en suite facilities, colour television, trouser press, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer, radio etc. Together with home made cake, chocs and fruit bowl.

Both double rooms have lovely views over the surrounding countryside and tranquillity is guaranteed.

We Welcome non smoking visitors from home and abroad.

It is also our pleasure to cater for executive clients who are looking for quiet peaceful surroundings.

Dining Facilities

A full English breakfast is included, whatever your preference and we are also happy to cater for special dietary requirements, such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten free etc.

Northamptonshire is quite rightly named 'Rose of the Shires'. Within easy reach of Laundimer House, there are many beauty spots, historic villages and stately homes.

Five miles to the east, is the town of Oundle, home of the famous Public School. Oundle has a thriving Market day on Thursday.

En route to Kettering via the A43 is Boughton House. Heading in a more northerly direction, but still only a short step away on the A43 is the town of Stamford, in which to linger, especially with historic Burghley House close by.

Serene Kirby Hall, complete with peacocks, is approximately 3 miles away, and herbal delights of all kinds await at Hill Farm Herbs, Brigstock which is also minutes away by car.

To find us

From Corby, take the road signposted to Stamford. At Weldon take the Oundle Road, and one mile outside Weldon, Bears Lane is signposted on your right.

Laundimer House is 700 metres from the main road and has ample parking.

Alternatively we have a private 520-yard grass airstrip, suitable for light aircraft and helicopters. Co-ordinates can be supplied on request.

Should it be required, car-hire or chauffeur driven transport can be arranged by prior agreement.
