Other people of interest include the famous Darrell Hair, which is a former cricket umpire, which served throughout the world, and currently lives in Nettleham near the city. Other people of interest include Alex Henshaw who is a Spitfire airplane tester, who attended the local school - Lincoln School.

Lincoln is also famous for the actors it produced - people such as John Hurt, which went to Lincoln School as well, and Jonathan Kerrigan, which is both a TV and stage actor, that is appearing on a TV drama series called Heartbeat
