| Nestling alongside the tranquil River Derwent lies the Loftsome Bridge Coaching House. Dating back to 1782, the Coaching Inn as it was known, offered food and shelter to travellers for more than a century. It hen became a working farm and guesthouse. After several years of painstaking restoration, we would like to continue the tradition and offer food and accommodation to the twenty-first century traveller. |

The bar boasts 160 spirits and liqueurs, plus 60 wines and of course the local Yorkshire Theakston Bitter- Heaven! - Or as near as you can aspire to it, without Divine intervention.

We are a family run Hotel noted for comfort, hospitality and good food.
The restaurant offers an imaginative Table d'hôte menu. The meals are cooked to a high standard using fresh local produce and game in season.
All our food is home-made and freshly prepared.
