The Longmynd Hotel nestles in woodland overlooking the small country market town of Church Stretton. The views are breathtaking.

Much Wenlock, a medieval town, with its twelfth century priory; Bridgnorth, a market town full of half-timbered buildings, shops and inns; Ludlow, the capital of the Marches, claiming 'the most beautiful street in England'; Clun, Bishops Castle and, of course, Ironbridge, a world heritage site. The larger towns of Shrewsbury, Telford and Hereford are less than twenty miles away, with Chester, Birmingham, Manchester and London, all within three hours drive.

Self Catering Cottages in the beautiful surroundings of the Longmynd Hotel.

There are one and two bedroomed cottages available in the grounds of the hotel. Each cottage has a lounge, a kitchen with a cooker, microwave, refrigerator and bathroom comprising bath with shower above, washbasin and w.c.

The lounge is comfortably furnished and has a colour television, DVD player and direct dial telephone. Two bedroom cottages also have a dishwasher.

All of the hotel amenities and leisure facilities are available to self-catering guests.

Road
From A49, turn into Church Stretton Town Centre, Continue along Sandford Avenue and turn left at Lloyds TSB. Travel along High Street, going straight over the mini roundabout. Take the first right into Cunnery Road. Proceed up the hill, minding the hairpin bend. The hotel's main gate is at the top on the left hand side.

Train
Church Stretton has its own Railway Station. Service runs to and from Shrewsbury or Newport.
