| Luton Barn is among a cluster of buildings dating from the 15th century in the hamlet of Luton. Payhembury, a typical Devon village, lies just to the south and the thatched village of Broadhembury one and a half miles to the north. Two miles to the east are the magnificent earthworks of Hembury Fort with stunning views over the Otter valley to the south and Dartmoor to the west. |
In the converted smithy of our 15th Century thatched barn, we offer spacious ground floor, centrally heated, twin/double accommodation with en suite shower room. Breakfast is served in your own pretty breakfast room or on sunny mornings in the courtyard garden.
As well as television and radio we provide tea and coffee making facilities, ironing board, trouser press, hair dryer and mini-fridge. Parking is right outside your front door. |

| Within easy reach of Luton are the National Trust properties of Killerton House, and Knightshayes Court with their magnificent grounds. The coast, from Seaton with its unique tramway to Sidmouth nestling between red sandstone cliffs, is within easy reach and the historic market town of Honiton with its many antique shops and lace museum is just 10 minutes away. Exeter is 16 miles and Taunton 24 miles. |

Within a 10 miles radius of Luton one can go flying, gliding, horse riding, golfing, fishing and quad biking. There are also many gardens and historic buildings to see and good walking country to be enjoyed.
Evening meals are available at local inns, among them the Drewe Arms at Broadhembury renowned for its fish dishes.
All in all we offer you very comfortable, private accommodation in a pleasant environment well situated to take advantage of the many attractions East Devon has to offer. |
