Tea and biscuits are served in the afternoon, on the terrace, under the gazebo next to the fountain. The ancient healing well is just over our garden wall!

Lyndale has been tastefully decorated throughout and home cooking is a speciality prepared by your hosts. Breakfast is a freshly cooked four course menu of your choice. Dinner is offered in our sun lounge with its beautiful panoramic views. Maybe you will see the Pennine Way walkers make their way down the fellside to Bellingham and to Lyndale Guest House.The ancient little market town, known locally as Bellin-jum, nestles snugly in the beautiful valley of the River North Tyne, surrounded by the magnificent rolling splendour of the heather clad moors of the National park.

We will do our best to make your stay special in Hadrian's Wall country.

Bellingham is full of history, myths and legend. The 12th century church of St Cuthberts is unique with its stone barrel vaulted roof, and 7th century healing well. References were made in medieval times of the Belllingham castle belonging to the King of Scotlands forester, sadly nothing remains but the high mound.Visit the Long Pack famous for Northumbria's notorious tale of murder, intrique and deception. Enjoy walks and trails: let the beautiful Hareshaw Linn nature trail and waterfall spark some romance and poetry in your soul.

At Lyndale, we greet you on arrival with tea & Biscuits on the terrace next to the fountain. The gazebo offers some shade in our walled garden which overlooks the River North Tyne and Dunterley Fellside. Northumberland National Park.

Our ground floor en suites have vanity units, hospitality tray's, TV's, hairdryers, toiletries and bathrobes. The family suite Dorma offers superb accommodation and is reached by our unusual spiral staircase. The suite includes two bedrooms and a private whirlpool bathroom..

Daily newspapers are provided for you in the comfortable sitting room adjoining the sun lounge.

Whilst enjoying a welcome break at Lyndale Guest House, you will be well situated for touring the Northumbrian countryside and many places of interest. Hadrian's Wall and Kielder Water are all part of this scenic border area.

To Find Us: on reaching Bellingham, turn right into the Rose and Crown Square behind the town clock, go down the hill through the square and Lyndale Guest House is on the right hand side, just before the riverside walk.
