Ideally situated for those wishing to explore this famous city, the Villa Magdala enjoys a peaceful location overlooking Henrietta Park.
Despite the tranquilty of our setting, it is only a 5 minute level walk from the hotel to the Roman Baths and the city centre with its many attractions and excellent shopping. Its rarity in being one of the very few hotels in Bath to have a carpark for its guests in the grounds of the hotel makes the Villa Magdala an ideal base for exploring the city.
The spacious, well equipped bedrooms lead off of the intriguing and elegant hallway, and all have a private ensuite bathroom and pleasant outlook.
Guests may relax in the comfortable lounge or read about the city and the many events taking place, before enjoying dinner at one of the many fine restaurants, just a short walk away, which the resident proprietors Roy and Lois Thwaites are happy to advise on.

Directions
Bath is situated approximately 120 miles to the west of Central London and 100 miles from London's Heathrow International Airport. A car journey will take approximately 2 hours from the centre of London or 1½ hours from the airport, depending on the time of day. The Villa Magdala is very easily reached by road, and is almost unique in Bath in that it has its own private off-street car park for the use of guests, removing completely the difficulties of trying to park in the city.
Alternatively there are excellent rail links, with a direct service from London Paddington to Bath Spa stations. There is an hourly service throughout the day with trains running every 30 minutes at peak times. Bath Spa is only a ten minute level walk through the city to the Villa Magdala, and taxis are available at the station. A coach service to Bath is also available from London Victoria.
