Meadowside is a small friendly guest house, situated in a peaceful location just south of Chester City Centre.Access to the city from Meadowside is a ten minute walk via the Old Dee Bridge which spans the river.

Alongside the river are The Groves. This is a pleasant riverside walk, where you can take tea at a café or riverside Inn, and there are also boats for hire. Alternativley, you can take a trip on a pleasure boat.

In Chester city centre, there are an abundance of black and white buildings set within a circuit of city walls, built by the Roman Legions. A leisurely walk along this 2 mile stretch will take you past the famous Eastgate Clock and the thousand year old cathedral, a place of tranquillity in this lively bustling city.

Meadowside

In Chester city centre are the Rows built in the 13th Century. These consist of two tiers of shops running along the main street. You'll find nothing like them anywhere else in the world. Chester is an exciting and interesting city to visit and a perfect place for shopping.

From City Centre:

Follow signs for Wrexham & North Wales (A483) past the race course and over the river bridge to a roundabout. Turn left at traffic lights, follow road to St Mary's Church (on left). Turn right immediately opposite onto Eaton Rd, carry on until 5th turn on left into Berkely Drive. First left into Holbein Close. We are at the end of the Close on the right.
