The Merecliffe was built early last century near the famous Cliffs and Gynn Gardens. We are situated in the North Shore area of Blackpool, which is renowned for its choicer selection of hotels.

Lying parallel and just 2 minutes from the Queens Promenade means we are close enough to the town centre and the magnificent sea views but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be able to relax and enjoy a quiet nights sleep.

Blackpool's famous attractions, the Pleasure Beach, Tower, Winter Gardens, Piers, Freeport Shopping Village and Cleveleys can be easily reached by tram, bus or by foot.

The Merecliffe Hotel has all the facilities you need and more. Whether you are taking a short break, a business trip or a family holiday, we aim to please and offer something for everybody.

All our bedrooms are en-suite and have colour TV's tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary toiletries. Irons, ironing boards, hairdryers and alarm clocks are available on request. We offer single, double, twin and family rooms.

Dining Area

In our spacious dining area we offer a varied menu of home cooked, fresh foods. Organic food and drink is available on request as are other special dietary requirements. There is also a children's menu available.

Terms and Conditions

Rooms are available from 11:00 am onwards on day or arrival. Rooms must be vacated by 10:00 am on day of departure. The rooms must only be occupied by persons on booking form. The proprietors reserve the right to cancel without refund, accommodation, if at any time their opinion of a visitor is such that the comfort and enjoyment of others is thereby inhibited. In the event of a cancellation, the deposit is not refundable and if not cancelled within 7 days of arrival date, the balance is required in full. All balances can be paid by cash or credit card, all credit cards are charged at £1.50 on top of the balance if under £100. Children under the age of 18 must not be left on the premises without adult supervision. Any damage will be paid by a signed responsible person.

Directions

At the end of the M55 take the Yeadon's Way exit and continue until you reach the Waterloo Road exit near the Focus DIY Centre. Turn left at the traffic lights next to the Aldi supermarket and carry straight on at the next set of traffic lights which will bring you to the promenade and proceed past the Tower and North Pier until you reach Gynn Square roundabout approximately a mile past the pier. Take the first exit on the roundabout. Turn onto King Edward Avenue which is the third road on the right and continue to the junction. Turn left onto Holmfield Road, and the Merecliff Hotel is on the left hand side.
