The Merlyn Court Hotel is an English Tourism Council recommended 2 Star Gold Bed & Breakfast hotel. Centrally situated in a lovely, quiet Edwardian Garden Square in Kensington & Chelsea, the building retains most of its original architectural features.

It is family run, quiet, with clean bright rooms and totally no smoking. It offers fantastic value in one of the finest, green areas of Central London - several garden squares around us if you like walking, interesting old buildings and a couple of museums too!

We are just 15 min from Westminster and all major London sites and 40 min from Heathrow Airport.

About Us

Since 1947, the Merlyn has been a family run bed & breakfast recognised by local & international tourism associations and guides. It is popular with leisure and business travellers for its central location and for providing excellent value in a friendly and quiet atmosphere.

We have tried to retain the original features of the building to provide clean, bright and airy rooms. Most have private facilities but we have also kept some basic rooms for the needs of the smaller budget traveller. Large rooms with 3 or 4 beds are also provided for friends or those with families.

Our recent survey has also identified people's requests for a quiet and non- smoking atmosphere. We have therefore made the hotel No Smoking throughout and provide a TV in the lounge only.

Rooms

We have tried to retain the original features of the building to provide bright airy rooms in the period style. We regularly refurbish them and most have bathrooms; to help people on lower budgets we have kept a few without bathrooms. Our larger rooms with 3 or 4 beds are also popular and convenient for families.
