About Millers Beck.... Built in the early 1600's Millers Beck has been sympathetically converted to provide the amenities and comfort of modern life while retaining "Olde Worlde" charm. Original oak-beams and stonework are a feature of this converted corn mill and the delightful mill race which tumbles through the garden gives a breath of spring all the year round. Situated on the A65 3½ miles from Kendal and enjoying panoramic views over open countryside, Millers Beck provides an ideal base for exploring the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. Guests have the use of a resident's lounge, dining room by the waters edge and two gallery sitting areas. The bedrooms are en-suite with television and tea/coffee making facilities. A drying room and laundry facilities are available. Tariff All rates are per person occupying double or twin bedded accommodation en-suite and include full English breakfas, cost per room per night is from £48.00 to £49.00

Self Catering.... Within the Mill complex are two self catering apartments. Farm View Ideal for a family, with large lounge, fully fitted kitchen and bedroom en-suite. 2 beds in lounge. Field View Catering for two people, with lounge/kitchen, bedroom en-suite Both apartments are well appointed with quality furnishings and fittings including colour television. Directions.... Leave the M6 at junction 36 Take the A65 (KIRKBY LONSDALE) road for 100 yards only. Take first left Endmoor/Crooklands (A65) road. 3½ miles along this road we are on the right hand side. (DO NOT TURN DOWN TO STAINTON)
