Min y Mor Hotel is ideally located on the Promenade in the picturesque town of Barmouth in North Wales.

A few short steps from the hotel and you’ll find yourself on the sandy beach of Cardigan Bay.

This area of Wales has many tourist attractions: the castles of Harlech, Criccieth and Caernarfon, slate and copper mines, narrow gauge railways, Portmeirion village and not to mention the flat, sandy beach of Barmouth, woodland and hillside walks, picturesque cycle paths, horse riding, golfing and fishing.

The proprietors, Helen and Norman Atkins, offer a warm and friendly welcome. Along with all the staff they will ensure your stay at our Hotel will be a comfortable and enjoyable holiday.

About Us

The Min y Mor Hotel has a licensed restaurant, Lounge Bar, Bar, Family Room and Function Room, all are open to non residents as well as residents.

The Restaurant has a good reputation locally and among visitors alike with our Chef's traditional and vegetarian dishes using the best market ingredients available and in generous quantities. The residents Menu is changed daily.All special diets can be catered for with prior notice.
Our Restaurant is an ideal venue for weddings, society dinners and that Special Party from a quiet table for two to a large gathering of up to 120.

The seaside town of Barmouth is one of the most scenic coastal resorts on the West coast of Wales, surrounded by the many miles of the Snowdonia National Park. The area is renowned for its outstanding beauty and its golden sandy beaches. A unique combination of mountains, sea and sand.

Use our Hotel as your base to explore the area. Touring Snowdonia. Playing golf at various courses, Royal St. David's being but one. Fishing both sea and fresh water.

Accommodation

All the rooms in the hotel are en-suit and have Tea/Coffee making facilities, selected Sky Channels and Telephones.

Ground Floor Rooms: We have 5 ground floor rooms for those people that can not manage stairs.

Hikers and Walkers: Drying room available for the people who go out in all weathers.

Mountain Bikers: For the Bikers we offer a drying room and a safe bike storage area.

We have a spacious guests lounge area with sea view.

Meal Times:
Breakfast 8.30am - 9.30am
Bar Meals: 12 noon - 2.30pm & 6.00pm - 9.00pm
Restaurant: 6.00pm - 8.30pmOut of season meal times may vary.

Children are welcome but are not allowed in the Bar after 9.00pm

Pets are welcome, but should not be left in your room alone. Their is a small charge of £6 per pet per night.

Smoking is permitted in the Bar and Bedrooms. The no smoking area’s are the reception, the restaurant and part of the bar at meal times only.
