Moat Hill Farmhouse, Stowmarket

At Moat Hill Farm we offer our guests old fashioned value for money, a warm, friendly, yet unobtrusive service in comfortable, clean and well appointed accommodation that will enhance any length or type of stay. We enjoy what we do and our constant aim is to give our guests a pleasant and hospitable experience.

Located on the edge of the Mid Suffolk village of Westhorpe, (once home to Mary Tudor, Queen of France and Duchess of Suffolk), Moat Hill Farm is set in quiet countryside and the farmhouse is all that now remains of a dairy farm of the same name.

Our guests have exclusive use of their own lounge and dining room. The light and airy lounge provides for peaceful relaxation with French door access to the patio and gardens. A small library of books, DVD's and CD's is available. Guests are most welcome to use the gardens and garden furniture for their enjoyment, (Our croquet lawn is more reminiscent of an obstacle course, but you can have plenty of fun attempting to master its idiosyncrasies).

Dining

Where at all possible our food is home grown and home made, and locally or county sourced. Our own free-range chickens will happily provide your breakfast eggs. Simple two course evening meals may be available by arrangement. However, there are a number of good pub restaurants close by.
