Monk Fryston Hall Hotel is situated less than five minutes drive from the A1 in the small village of Monk Fryston, deep within the Vale of York. This stately and picturesque manor house, covered in wisteria and rambling English roses, is set within 30 acres of ornate gardens, lakes and mature parkland.
Dating back to the 1500s, the hall and its grounds evoke a rich and colourful history. Originally a monastery, it was bought by the late 10th Duke of Rutland in 1954 and and converted to the Hotel as it florishes today.
Monk Fryston Hall Hotel provides excellent up-to-date facilities for conferences and corporate entertaining and our location is ideal for visiting nearby York or Leeds. There are a wealth of activities and attractions within easy distance of the Hall including historic houses, museums, theatres, sport and leisure. The Hotel's interior, withoak panelled reception rooms, roaring log fires and galleriedlandings, offersan impressive welcome.
